The prompt for today is:
Tell us about your experience during this camp. Did you have fun? Did you make friends? What was your favorite part? :)

My experience with this camp was amazing! I loved it so much and am sad it has come to an end. I had a ton of fun creating different things with coding. I loved all the projects, but the LilyPad Arduino tote bag was my favorite project over all. I loved the different challenges and problems we had to overcome. I made a lot of new friends and met some old ones that I've known before. We all had such a great time with each other and were very supportive. My favorite part of the camp...well, honestly I can't pick a favorite part. I loved everything! YWiC is awesome! :)

Tuesday's Prompt:  If you could have any super human power what would it be and why?

The superhuman power I would have is flight. This is because I could get anywhere fast, by gliding through the clouds overlooking all the world. It would be amazing and relaxing to fly. I could travel the world and get anywhere.

Wednesday's Prompt: If you could transform into any animal, what animal would you morph to and why?

I would morph into a dolphin. I love dolphins because they're fast and can swim where ever they want to in the ocean. I also love the ocean and have always wanted to go scuba-diving, or something of that sort. Being a dolphin would allow me to travel the world by the ocean and I'd be able to communicate with other dolphins.

Today's Prompt: If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Why?

For the rest of my life, I would eat salad. It sound a little weird, but I do love salad. Technically, salad is one food. My favorite kind of salad has things like lettuce, tomato, boiled egg, chicken, olives, cheese, dressing, and croutons-so I basically like a very fancy salad. Although, I do like any salad-whether it's a fruit salad, a simpler salad, or a taco salad-pretty much any salad!

I'm so excited to share my projects tomorrow and see everybody else's!!! Can't wait!

Hello everyone! So sorry, I'm pretty sure I missed a blog prompt and I have not posted in a while, but I'm posting now so it's all good!

So the blog prompt for today was:
Imagine you have a piece of clay in front of you. Shape it, bake it, paint it. What does it look like and what color(s) did you use?

My creation out of this piece of clay would be a vase (I've always wanted to make one), very narrow and about a foot tall. The colors I would use would be different shades of blue. These are the colors I'd use and this would be the shape of my vase:

What Disney character would I be and why?

This is probably the hardest question ever...I honestly don't know who I would choose. There are thousands of different Disney characters and to choose only one would honestly be impossible for me.

First off, any Disney Princess would be amazing, I love Disney princesses! They all have their own personalities and stories that make them who they are and that is why I would want to be them. (By the way I count Jane from Tarzan and Giselle from Enchanted Disney princesses <3)

Other than Disney Princesses, I would love to be Pascal off of Tangled. He's absolutely adorable and I'd love to hang out with Rapunzel all the time!

I've always loved the Incredibles movie and think it would be cool to be Violet. She has awesome super powers and I love how in the end of the movie she decides to be confident and be herself!

I <3 Disney!

What is my favorite super hero?

I'm not really into super heroes, Marvel, or DC characters, but if I had to choose one, my favorite superhero would have to be Spider man.
He's my favorite because of his humor, awesome spider powers, his looks, and just that I've seen a lot of his movies and like them. :)

What have I done with my summer so far?

Right after school got out, I started packing right away. For what, you ask? Well, about a year ago I learned of a big 8th grade school trip at my school to Washington D.C. and New York. The moment I heard about it I wanted to go desperately. With the help of my parents, I started fundraising for the trip. I ended up reaching the goal and was able to go on the trip. We left on May 28th, 2016 (so about three weeks ago from now I went on my trip). It was absolutely AMAZING! All the different sights I saw in both Washington and New York were incredible! I got to see the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, White House, Capital Building, Statue of Liberty, Times Square, and much more! It was the best trip I've ever been on!

Now that I'm back from my trip, I realized I need to work on my summer reading project for my high school freshman year (I'm going to Onate, by the way). All I have to do is read any book of my choice over 150 pages, and then create a board game about the book with certain requirements. It doesn't seem too hard, actually pretty easy, but the thing is I just need to get started. I will, don't worry. That's probably what I'm going to spend most of my time doing this summer.

At the moment, I'm at Young Women in Computing 2016 High School Summer Camp (YWiC). This camp is actually where I'm blogging from. I'm excited for this camp and look forward to the activities we will do!
